hikaye şöyledir efendim: brazzaville istanbul'daki ilk konserleri için gelmişlerdir, özgecan tapa ve david brown tanışmışlardır. özgecan'ın almanya'ya okumaya gideceğini öğrenen david ''bir daha geri dönmezsin herhalde'' demiş.
özgecan da, boğaziçi ile nişanlı olduğunu söylemiş, çünkü yıllar önce bir boğaz seferi sırasında nereye giderse gitsin sonunda hep istanbul'a geri dönme dileğiyle yüzüğünü boğaz'ın sularına attığını ve boğaziçi ile böylece nişanlanmış olduğunu söylemiş.
david de bunun üzerine hikayeyi şarkı haline getirip, özgecandan klipte oynama sözü almıştır.
